Cajeput has a fresh, camphorous aroma with a slight fruity note. The odor of the oil has been stated to resemble the combined fragrance of camphor, rosemary, and cardamom.
Cajeput oil shares properties with tea tree and eucalyptus both in chemistry and aroma.
