Frankincense "Heart Note" is a viscous golden/amber colored material that has a rich, resinous aroma.
The coniferous top notes generally associated with steam distilled frankincense are eliminated by the special low heat, high vacuum molecular distillation process. This captures the very core of the frankincense resin aroma. This material reminds me a lot of the incense burned during a Mass.
