Paraffins in this oil cause it to be solid in cooler temperatures and these paraffin crystals serve as excellent fixatives in perfumes. Although it easily solidifies, the solids are easily dissolvable in other essential oils.
The latin meaning of Macrorrhisum is "big root" and the name "zdrave" means "health." In eastern and central Europe the oil is distilled as a medicinal herb.
